Tom and Laura Faulk were born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1978 they attended the Cleveland Baptist Church in Cleveland where they accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and where they immediately became active members. In October of that same year Pastor Faulk surrendered to the call of the Lord to preach and to serve in full-time ministry. To prepare for ministry, he enrolled in Bible College earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Pastoral Theology.

Pastor Faulk and his wife Laura have served in church ministries that include the Pastorate and Christian Education (Day school and Bible Institute) for over 26 years. Most recently, Pastor Faulk served at Victory Baptist Church in Londonderry, New Hampshire for 11 years (1998-2009).
Pastor Faulk has been the senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Groton since August 2, 2009. The Faulks have four children and ten grandchildren living in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Tennessee.
